What the Bible says about meditation:
(2TIM 2:7) -Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this.
(Psalm 19:14) - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
(Jos 1:8) - Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
(Psalm 48:9) - Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.
(Psalm 77:12) - I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds.
(Psalm 119:15) - I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
(Psalm 119:23) - Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
(Psalm 119:27) - Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders.

(Psalm 1-6) - Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
(Romans 12:1-3) - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God-this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.
